Canadians believe bigger is better – in numbers and in size
Your Black Friday 2018 TV is likely going to be bigger in size than what you’ve had previously. Canadians love bigger TVs and more advanced specifications, even if they don’t necessarily know what they mean or plan to use them like that. If you’re looking to save money, you may not need to get all the specifications up to their maximum capacity. Know why you’re using your television and buy accordingly. Size is something easily seen and though it’s not everything, an appropriate size for the room can really enhance the home theater experience.
There are cheaply priced TVs out there made high quality
Though the TV industry focused a lot on branding, Canadian consumer behaviour show us branding doesn’t mean a whole lot. A lot of the time, consumers want the cheapest TV possible without compromising too much on the quality. Naturally, that varies from person to person though. That said, just because it’s a Samsung HDTV 1080p, that doesn’t mean it’s right for your home. You may find you’ll be paying more for a Samsung product, in comparison with an off-brand television from a lesser known competitor.
